Marketing Coordinator 

Saskatchewan
 
Dynamo Electric is one of Western Canada's fastest growing engineering, design-build construction, testing and electrical maintenance service companies and is seeking Marketing Coordinator to support our Business Development team.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, and under the direction of the Key Account Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with the President, Directors and Managers in a multi-faceted role. You will be responsible for coordinating digital projects, preparing presentations, quality assurance of our digital properties, and administrative duties. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong organization skills and an excellent eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess characteristics of products and services to be promoted and manage the advertising needs of Dynamo Electric.
  • Develop and implement advertising campaigns appropriate for print and electronic media.
  • Manage social media accounts, content collection, creation, and page & inquiry management.
  • Work with internal clients to gain necessary information to promote projects.
  • Gather, research, and prepare communications material for internal and external audiences.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate communications strategies and programs designed to educate and interest clients.
  • Prepare presentations, refresh website content and issue press releases.
  • Participate in website testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
  • Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions for internal and external audiences
  • Prepare brochures, newsletters, branded merchandise, and other marketing material.
Qualifications:
  • A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, or related field.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or another relevant field.
  • Basic knowledge and experience in website content management.
  • Experience coordinating and maintaining schedules, project plans, and/or content calendars.
  • Proficient knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook.
  • Proficient in photo and video editing including experience in programs such as Illustrator, Premier Pro and Captivate.
  • A high level of competency with publishing software, including InDesign and Adobe Suite programs.
  • A high level of competency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and proof-reading skills.

Electrical Engineer

Saskatchewan

Dynamo Electric is a design-build and maintenance-oriented company that specializes in power and control solutions for industrial and utility clients.  Within this niche market we can provide a broad scope of services which allow us to be a complete technical solution provider for our clients.
 
We require an Electrical Engineer to provide support for the engineering consulting and field service aspects of our business.  By joining our engineering team, you will be exposed to both-in-house design and study functions as well as field-orientated project construction, commissioning, and testing assignments.
 
Some of your responsibilities may include:
  • Power system studies; short circuit, coordination, power flow, arc flash, etc.
  • Plant engineering and reliability engineering support for a variety of industrial and utility clients.
  • Application, design, configuration, and commissioning of electrical equipment and process automation equipment.
  • Writing technical reports related to studies or service calls.
  • Communication point of contact for customers.
  • Provide technical services field support to internal/external customers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, with minimum 7+ years of experience in an industrial setting or consulting environment.
  • Currently registered as a professional engineer with APEGS (Association of Professional Engineers and Geosciences of Saskatchewan)
  • Working knowledge of electrical protection, industrial process control and automation applications.
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Possess strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Works effectively under time constraints, adapts to change, able to work alone, as well as enjoys participating in a team environment.

Electrical Engineering Technologist

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
 
One of Western Canada's fastest growing engineering, construction and technical service companies is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technologist to provide technical support for the engineering and field service aspects of our business.
 
As a leader in providing design-build projects, maintenance services and technical solutions for industrial and utility clients in Western Canada, our goal is to build strong working relationships with key clients through providing a high level of customer service. 
 
Joining our technical team will mean taking a visible role with new and existing clients.  You will also support the engineering and electrical construction elements of our organization.  This may involve, in-house design and study functions, as well as field-orientated project construction, commissioning, preventative maintenance and testing assignments.
 
Some of your responsibilities may include:
  • Design, inspect, commission, test, maintain and repair electrical power and control systems; generators, transformers, breakers, protection relays and other equipment.
  • Read technical electrical, mechanical and instrumentation drawings.
  • Point of contact for customers and maintain and develop customer service relationships.
  • Provide technical services and support to internal/external customers.
  • Operations and reliability engineering support for a variety of industrial and utility clients.
  • Writing proposals and technical reports related to studies or service calls.
  • Oversee and manage small projects.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree from a post-secondary education institute in a technical field (electrical or mechanical related) which allows for professional affiliations.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ applicable work experience and affiliation (or eligibility) with a professional organization (A.Sc.T., P. Eng., or equivalent).
  • Specialized expertise of a particular area in your field of practice.
  • Time management and organizational skills to balance field and office work commitments.
  • Willing to travel and work extensive hours to maintain strict timelines.
  • Solid understanding of the business and customer environment.
  • Physically fit to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Physical fitness test and drug and alcohol test will be required.
